On Crime: Understand frustration of black men with racial stereotyping

[On racial profiling]: "I've seen young black men who are the sweetest people in the world who were stopped and questioned by police just because they fit a certain stereotype," she said. "So, yes, I understand the frustration. But as for these riots, I don't think that serves any purpose. I'll say this: If you're out there tearing down a business, you've never built one. You've never done what it takes to build a business."

On Government Reform: Demands "audit" of 2020 Georgia election results

Taylor has launched her own effort to force an audit of the vote in Fulton and Chatham counties, which govern Atlanta and Savannah. She mailed Georgia state representatives an affidavit demanding that one of two candidates conduct a similar operation in Georgia. Taylor told The Daily Beast that she's been taking advice from Arizona activists who helped launch the state's election audit, including Republican congressional candidate Josh Barnett.

On Government Reform: It's time for politicians to be term limited, then come home

Taylor says she's the youngest person in the race and says young people are passionate, excited, and "want to be represented by someone like them." Taylor tells us that since April, she's put 42,000 miles on her car traveling across Georgia as she gears up for the election. She says the average age of a lawmaker in Congress is 65-years-old, adding that it's time to get "people to go in and get some term limits, and then come home."

On Homeland Security: Determine if military bases are vital before closing them

When it comes to the idea of closing any of Georgia's military bases Taylor says it's important first to determine what purpose they're serving. Are the operations vital, she asks? She says "we don't need to waste money," since taking on more debt will destabilize the dollar, but adds that it's important to support our military. Taylor says, "I do want to support the military, 100 percent. We need them. We need their protection and we need to protect our soldiers."
