Cheri will also fight to make the Expanded Child Tax Credit permanent and pass Federal Paid Family and Medical leave to help people balance work and family when welcoming a child, caring for a loved one or dealing with a personal illness, just as she created a family leave policy for North Carolina court employees when she served as Chief Justice.

Sandy Smith: Supreme Court overstepped by redefining marriage

Q: Do you support or oppose the statement, "Comfortable with same-sex marriage"?

A: I support getting government out of marriage, especially since the SCOTUS overstepped its bounds and legislated from the bench forcing the issue on everyone. I also support traditional families and religious liberty. Businesses and individuals should be allowed to follow their biblical convictions. I am against transgender troops in our military.

Mark Walker: Oppose child mutilations and gender reassignment surgery

And speaking of protecting our children, it's time we collectively fight back against the evil onslaught of child mutilations and gender reassignment surgeries. There's a battle for the hearts and minds of our children and grandchildren and I can't think of a more important fight that we must win for the future of America. Every life has value because every boy and girl is fearfully and wonderfully made by their Creator.
