Phil will:
• Guarantee earned sick leave statewide, because no one should have to choose between a job and caring for a loved one.
• Ensure equal pay for equal work.
• Expand the EITC to 40 percent of federal level, so that working families can lift themselves out of poverty.
• Create a new child care and caregiver tax credit to alleviate the high cost of caring for a family in NJ.

Steve Lonegan: Marriage is the greatest institution; no kids for gays

Lonegan said "marriage is the greatest institution made by man" because "it's about the children." Asked whether he believes gay couples should have children, he quipped: "That would be a biological phenomenon." He then added: "I have mixed feelings about that."

That's why she passed historic family leave legislation for all New Jerseyans. It's why she's been a champion for raising the minimum wage and indexing it to inflation, so it is a livable wage. And it's why she's fought to protect collective bargaining rights for teachers and firefighters and police officers who have been demonized by Governor Christie.

As Governor, Barbara will continue those fights, for hard-working families across our state who can't afford lawyers and lobbyists, but deserve to have their voices heard in Trenton.
