Biden Cabinet members actions and issues: on Abortion

Gina Raimondo: Supports law allowing for late term abortions

Governor Cuomo is taking a lot of heat from Catholics - he claims to be one - but he still supports late-term abortion. So far, calls for him to be excommunicated by the Church have fallen on deaf ears within the clergy with the power to do that. Governor Gina Raimondo, also a Catholic, is supporting a similar bill in her state of Rhode Island. Under it, preborn babies would have NO protection.

Pete Buttigieg: Offered anti-abortion clinic help away from abortion clinic

An abortion clinic--[in] a city without a single provider--was trying to open. A crisis pregnancy center was trying to open up directly next door. Buttigieg eventually barred the CPC from its desired location. But he did so without ever taking a stand on reproductive rights. He even offered to "help" the anti-abortion organization open elsewhere, despite evidence that the vast majority of crisis pregnancy centers provide false or misleading information to the women they claim to serve.
