A: I am passionate about government waste, fraud and abuse which I believe has resulted in our exorbitant national debt, and we could reduce it significantly by condensing our 17 National Security agencies down to about 4.
Q: Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
A: 1. I want to help people file mass pro se lawsuits that will end the pandemic & overhaul the legal system.
2. I want to implement a "Get Out of Debt" plan that helps to bridge the gap between the rich and poor.
3. I want to ensure that laws are passed which benefit the majority, and I cannot and will not be bought.
Cornett is expected to gain support from the independent oil industry, while Stitt would be backed by Chamber of Commerce members and the largest oil producers.
Maggie will strengthen our commitment to supporting local business owners by ensuring that all New Mexicans have access to the resources they need to plan, start and expand their operations.
Maggie has been a strong advocate of SB9, a recently passed state law creating a "One-Stop-Shop" Business Portal to cut red tape for local businesses. Upon assuming office, Maggie will work across agencies to ensure that law is implemented as quickly as possible.
A: Our state's greatest challenge is going to be making sure our citizens are prepared to compete in the new economy. In order to be successful in an economy that's increasingly digital, creative, and data-driven, we need to place a greater emphasis on public education, from early childhood to higher education.
Q: What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?
A: Make decisions based mainly on evidence, don't be afraid of reasonable compromise, and don't kick people around for no good reason.
Q: What qualities do you possess that you believe would make you a successful officeholder?
A: I recognize that other people know more than I do about their lives and their professions, and I try hard to listen to them before I form my own opinion.
