The Washington Examiner: on Principles & Values

Billy Long: Biden and Harris should resign

In fact, they and their team of Obama administration holdovers are actively working against the interests of the country. For their dereliction of duty in the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan, their total capitulation to China and other adversaries, their calamitous open border policies, their disastrous fiscal policies, their servitude to the radical woke left, and their utter failure to lead the nation, Biden and Harris should resign.

Daniel Gade: Bothered by Congress trying to embarrass president

Gade said, "If I need to do things that are in opposition to the president--whether this party this president, the other party a different president, or a far future president of either party--I have no problem opposing a president." Gade, however, was sure to note that, "the thing that bothers me is when the legislative branch is wasting its time trying to embarrass the president. That's not a helpful use of their time. That's not what they should be doing."

Nikki Haley: Humbling to be a role model for girls and women

"Young girls and women come up and say something, and it's humbling but I get it," she tells me. "The reason I get it is because women balance so much and they try so hard to be great at everything, and it's not so much as they look up to me, but I think they see one of them doing it, too." Haley says, "We're doing the best we can and we know that there is someone out there looking at us as we do it, and we don't want to disappoint."

J.B. McCuskey announced his bid to become the state's next governor. McCuskey is in his second four-year term as State Auditor and has also served two terms in the House of Delegates.

"I'm a husband and father. I'm a proud conservative, lawyer, business owner & man of faith--but most importantly, I am one of you," McCuskey tweeted. "I'm a mountaineer who understands real life in West Virginia. That's why I'm proud to announce my candidacy to be the next governor of West Virginia."

Tim Sheehy: Our campaign is about service, God, and country

[Announcing his Senate bid]: "I'm Tim Sheehy. Whether it was in war or business, I see problems and solve them. America needs conservative leaders who love our country, and that's why I'm running for the United States Senate," Sheehy said in his launch video. "I want to create a better future for my kids and your children and grandchildren. Our campaign is about service, God, and country, not politics as usual," he added.

Hung Cao: America is the most incredible country in the world

The term MAGA Republican; that's all they know. It's like their buzzword, and they want to do that. But let's break it down. Well, what's wrong with wanting to make America great? Do you want to make China great? I mean, let's look at why we're here. We have to bring up America. This is the most incredible country in the world. If you don't believe that, then you haven't traveled enough.
