On Drugs: Amendment: no criminal associations re: cannabis banking

A congressional committee voted to approve legislation aimed at increasing marijuana businesses' access to banks. An amendment from Rep. John Rose (R-TN) would have required banks to attest that they have internal controls ensuring that no funds have been deposited in their institutions that are associated with illegal organizations.
