On Abortion: Pro-life, let states rather than Congress pass legislation

Miller describes himself as "pro-life" but said he believes state legislatures, not Congress, should make abortion decisions. For that reason, he would not support federal legislation that South Carolina Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham put forward that would ban abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy.

On Budget & Economy: Scale back government as quickly and as soon as possible

Miller said inflation is the top issue he hears about from voters who are financially strapped by rising prices. He tells them the government needs to be more fiscally responsible, and injecting money into the economy over the past 20 months hasn't worked and "will not work, period, hard stop."

"More of a pragmatic solution would probably be to scale back government as quickly and as soon as possible," said Miller.
