On Abortion: Pro-choice Republican torn if Roe overturned

He announced he'll veto abortion legislation HB40. The measure keeps abortion legal in Illinois if Roe v. Wade is overturned, calling for expanding abortion coverage under Medicaid and in state worker health plans. Illinois has "trigger" language on the books that threatens to automatically make abortion illegal if the high court overturns Roe.
