Kirsten Gillibrand: The future was female and intersectional

Fox News' host Chris Wallace asked Gillibrand to explain her tweet from December 2018, when she said the future was "female" and "intersectional."

"We want women to have a seat at the table," Gillibrand said. At that, Wallace jumped in and asked: "What about men?"

"They're already there -- do you not know?" Gillibrand said, greeted by one of the biggest rounds of applause of the night. "It's not meant to be exclusionary, it's meant to be inclusionary," she said.

Monica Wehby: 2013: Ex-boyfriend filed police report, but now regrets it

Oregon GOP Senate candidate Monica Wehby was accused by her ex-boyfriend last year of "stalking" him, entering his home without his permission and "harassing" his employees, according to a Portland, Oregon police report.

Wehby was questioned by a police officer on April 3, 2013. Miller, the wealthy owner of a timber company, had been romantically involved with Wehby but their relationship was ending at that time, they both say now. Wehby was not arrested in the incident.

Miller has helped fund radio and billboard ads slamming one of Wehby's rivals for the Senate nomination, state Rep. James Conger. Miller has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars in recent years backing GOP candidates in Oregon.

Wehby said she was unaware that a police report had been filed over the 2013 incident and downplayed the episode. Miller said he now regrets calling the police on Wehby. The couple had dated for about two years, but broke up in 2013. Miller, divorced with 4 children, said they remain friendly.

Scott Pruitt: Double headline - Already Done

Scott Pruitt lamented that "minority religions" were pushing Christianity out of "the public square" and advocated amending the Constitution to ban abortion, prohibit same-sex marriage and protect the Pledge of Allegiance and the Ten Commandments, according to a newly unearthed series of Oklahoma talk radio shows from 2005.

Throughout the programs, Pruitt suggested that states might need to call a constitutional convention to propose amendments that would allow expression of religion in government, declare abortion illegal and bar same-sex marriage.

Pruitt acknowledged some trepidation about holding a constitutional convention, which could make wholesale changes to the nation's founding charter.

"It scares me to a large degree to go into something like a constitutional convention, 'cause that means that we're going to have to really be educated, and informed, and debate," he said. "But you know what? Maybe it's time."
