Rep. Mike Garcia was showered with cheers for his endorsement of Trump's agenda. The former fighter pilot said California's problems are the result of "politicians up in Sacramento who have gotten a free pass 15 to 20 years, who in many cases have never run a business, never run a family.'' He charged that the biggest threat to democracy is "our population and leaders pushing socialism"--and said the state's future depends on "getting conservatives who know how to run a state back in office."
