On Abortion: Too young for Roe V. Wade to avoid botched abortion

Oprah HAS been a mother--she has candidly spoken throughout her career of getting pregnant at age 14, hiding her condition, attempting a botched abortion and eventually giving birth to a child who died soon after. She has said, "When the baby died I knew that was my second chance. So I went back to school and nobody knew." She took that second chance and went on a different path in her life.
