Beth Lindstrom: Why is Sen. Warren dissing U.S. foreign policy in China?

Why is @SenWarren sowing discord against U.S. foreign policy on her trip to China? It's one thing to throw rocks at your Dem and GOP opponents in the U.S., it's demoralizing to see her do it on foreign soil in front of our communist adversaries.

Donald Trump: Disallow North Korea from developing nuclear delivery system

President-elect Donald Trump tweeted that North Korea won't reach the final stages of developing a nuclear weapon that will be able to hit the United States: "North Korea just stated that it is in the final stages of developing a nuclear weapon capable of reaching parts of the U.S. It won't happen!" the president-elect wrote.

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un said during his annual New Year's address that preparations for launching an intercontinental ballistic missile have "reached the final stage." The development came after the country claims it tested its first hydrogen bomb last year.

North Korea, which has been at odds with the United States since the start of the Korean War in 1950, first tested a nuclear weapon in 2006. A nuclear test was conducted last year on Jan. 6.

Donald Trump: Negotiating with Iran better than starting a war

[Trump seated at office desk, referring to Barack Obama]: "Our President will start a war with Iran because he has absolutely no ability to negotiate. He's weak and he's ineffective. So the only way he figures that he's going to get re-elected--and as sure as you're sitting there--is to start a war with Iran.

Now, I'm more militant and more militaristic than the President. I believe in strength. But to start a war in order to get elected--and I believe that's going to happen--would be an outrage."

Eric Brakey: Learn from the past: we don't need another Mideast war

Engagement in another Middle East civil war will cost more lives & make us less safe-- we must only reflect upon the last 30 years as proof.

Jill Stein: Stop bombing Muslims abroad and stop bashing them at home

Donald Trump: Whether we like it or not, there is a problem and we have to be sure that Muslims report it when they see hatred.

Hillary Clinton: I intend to defeat ISIS to do so in a coalition with majority Muslim nations.

Jill Stein: If we want peace at home we need peace abroad. It's despicable for Trump to bash Muslims and Hillary to bomb them overseas.

Richard Ojeda: Criticizes those wanting war with Iran: talk is easy

I see folks talking about Iran being a cake walk. Iraq took 9 years, thousands of lives and trillions of $$ and we are now back. 18 years in the "Stan" and we are still losing troops. Talk is easy....actually putting boots on the ground is a different story. #anotherforeverwar

Tom Steyer: Trump foreign policy strategy is to react, not think

There is no Trump foreign policy. There is no thinking. There is only political posturing and impulsive reaction. Weak and dangerous.

Dean Phillips: Condemn the depravity of Hamas, and Iran if they're involved

Rep. Dean Phillips has joined other lawmakers, mostly Republicans, in blaming Iran for allegedly helping Hamas--a political and militant organization that governs the Gaza Strip--to plan and carry out its surprise attack. Phillips, who is Jewish, said that if Iran was actively involved, the United States should unite with its allies to "neutralize" Iran.

Phillips wrote on Twitter/X: "If Iran helped plan, support, and initiate the attack on Israel, principled nations of the world must unite and neutralize the most repugnant, repressive, destabilizing regime in the world. Evil cannot be appeased any longer."

In another post, Philips said "As Ranking Member of the House-Knesset Parliamentary Friendship Group, I joined with Chair @RepDavidKustoff and our entire, bipartisan membership to condemn the depravity of Hamas and extend our unwavering support for our friends in the Knesset and the people of Israel."

Jim Justice: Weak foreign policy causes Mideast chaos and war

The Middle East has descended into chaos and war because of Joe Biden's reckless and weak foreign policy. We must stand with our ally Israel and stand against Iran's escalation and support for terrorist organizations like Hamas.
