USA Today: on Technology

Tom Steyer: We need to hit reset button on how we think about technology

We don't want to let internet service providers dictate which website you can visit or be able to charge you different rates for different content. We certainly don't want to have technology companies destroy competitors and stifle choice, innovation, and competition because of their size. We need to hit the reset button on how we think about technology and how we protect the rights of individual Americans. We should aggressively regulate these companies.

Rick Perry: Trans-Texas corridor: 4000 miles of highway & utilities

One of the biggest objections Tea Party groups have with Perry is his support for the Trans-Texas Corridor--a plan that would have created more than 4,000 miles of superhighways, rails and utility lines, cost more than $100 billion and required the taking of private property through eminent domain. The proposal was eliminated by the state Legislature this year.
