John Fetterman:
Raise minimum wage to $15 per hour
Tom Wolf raised the minimum wage--mostly for state janitorial workers and part-time clerical staff--increasing their pay from $7.25 to $10.15 per hour. And in the wake of North Carolina's passing a law that stripped rights from gay
and transgender people, Wolf issued a pair of executive orders that expanded protections against discrimination based on one's sexual orientation or gender identity.
He wanted "to show the world that Pennsylvania is a welcoming place for everyone."Fetterman stands for many of the same policies. He wants to raise the minimum wage to $15 and pass gun reforms, and supports Medicare-for-all.
And with all of it comes more of a voice for the "forgotten cities across Pennsylvania" message. He says he stands for "evidence-based public policies that benefit the most people possible."

Scott Walker:
Right-to-work rules stand up for the hardworking taxpayers
Walker's goal was to excite the activist crowd [at the CPAC convention] with an energetic speech. So he chose not to stand at the podium that was provided, instead walking around the stage, gesturing and playing off the crowd.
He touted his blue-collar background and his conservative policy accomplishments, to frequent cheers.Overall, Walker looked confident. His speech was enthusiastically received.
And toward the end, there was even a bit of a spontaneous "moment," when Walker said Wisconsin was about to become a right-to-work state, and a protester began shouting.
Walker yelled in response, "Those voices can't drown out the voices of millions of Americans who want us to stand up for the hardworking taxpayers!" The audience stood up and roared with applause.

Veronica Escobar:
Raise the federal minimum wage
The Spanish-language rebuttal is a relatively new tradition that started in 2011 in an effort to reach out to the 37 million Latinos living in the US who speak Spanish at home.Escobar outlined the Democrats' stance on bread-and-butter election issues,
including universal affordable health care and raising the federal minimum wage. It showed how the Democrats are trying to frame the issues voters care about most in terms that appeal to Latinos, without predominantly focusing on the immigration debate.

Laphonza Butler:
Was labor organizer; led fight for $15 minimum wage in CA
Butler was a labor organizer for nearly two decades, leading the biggest union in California and one of the US's largest home care workers union, SEIU Local 2015. In that position, she was at the forefront of the successful fight for a
$15 minimum wage in California. The union's current president said that her work uplifted union workers, many of whom are women of color and immigrants.
