On Principles & Values: Agrees with Bernie on vouchers, EPA, taxes, amnesty & voting

Where do Bernie and Hillary agree on the issues? Our VoteMatch theory says that a moderate liberal and a hard-core liberal should agree on most issues but differ in fervency; we point out exactly that difference in many places in our analysis in each chapter. They entirely agree on:

Education: both agree: no vouchers; restricted charters.
Environmentalism: both would strengthen the EPA.
Social Security; both oppose any weakening or privatization.
Tax Reform: both would increase taxes on the wealthy to help the working class and middle class.
Voting rights: both would remove voter ID restrictions, and on the campaign finance side, both would overturn Citizens United.
Immigration: both favor a pathway to citizenship that their opponents would call "amnesty."

On Principles & Values: Disagrees with Bernie on crime, drugs & foreign intervention

Where do Hillary and Bernie disagree on the issues? This list comprises legitimate differences on issues, not just differences of fervency or recency:

Faith: Hillary would work with faith-based organizations on many fronts; Bernie focuses on church-state separation.
Crime: Hillary supports the death penalty; Bernie focuses on "Black Lives Matter."
Drugs: Hillary supports medical marijuana legalization; Bernie supports more than that, and considers the War on Drugs to be a major source of systemic racism. Hillary started using the term "systemic racism" in response to Bernie's use of the term.
Foreign intervention: Hillary is interventionist while Bernie would stay out of many hotspots. This is the strongest difference between the two candidates: Hillary is much more hawkish than Bernie (but still dovish compared to Republicans).
