A: Absolutely. I would invigorate the 2nd Amendment by giving gun owners (who pass mental health and criminal background checks) the same firepower issued to an Army Private, so as to be at par with a possible rogue government takeover. I am for Concealed carry permits and for no gun-free zones, especially in schools. 1.35 million young people have serious sports injuries. We don't outlaw sports.
A: Strongly support. The Second Amendment is not about target practice, hunting, or self-defense. It is about the supremacy of the right of the citizen over the power of the State.
A: Yes, all mentally competent adults have an absolute right to gun ownership. This is prudent, for the best defense when someone is trying to beat your buddy or rape your wife is a GUN. The San Bernardino Shooters, Oregon Shooter, Aurora shooter, Sandy Hook Shooters, and Charleston Shooter would have taken out no more than two innocent people had even one good protector been present and able to use a gun. The best defense when a mentally imbalanced shooter is firing at innocent people is GOOD GUYS WITH GUNS. And the best defense when a sober-but-evil terrorist has a weapon is also a clear-thinking American WITH A GUN. North America has had seven highly public terrorist shootings since 2009. To me, the absolute saddest are the three that happened at military installations: Fort Hood, the Washington Naval Shipyard and the Chattanooga Army recruitment station. These are places where in normal times our Military Police carried guns.
A: for small arms
Q: Strongly support
A: Yes.
A: Oppose. Not for convicted felons at all. Or for automatic/assault weapons--they should require special screening and registration.
A: Strongly Oppose
A: Agree, no felons.
A: Strongly Support. Not only is this a Constitutional right not subject to executive or legislative abrogation, but it is also the only thing that stands between We the People and our out of control and corrupt federal government.
A: STRONGLY SUPPORT, 100%, repeal NFA Title I & II.
A: Support with side thoughts. I support the 2nd Amendment but I believe we shouldn't need it. I believe we need to start asking the questions about why we are in a position of having to defend ourselves from others. Perhaps there's a better solution and we need to be seeking it such that we don't need guns anymore. If we ask the question expecting an answer and keep doing that until we find the answer we're looking for then we'll find it.
