The US government has completely abdicated its role as a leader in the effort to slow and ultimately reverse climate change. In 2017, the Trump administration shocked the world by rejecting the Paris climate agreement--the only country out of 197 to do so. This is bad not only for the environment but also for our economy. We should be positioning ourselves to be the leader in the new energy economy. Instead, our government refuses to acknowledge that climate change is occurring. Source: The Right Answer, by Rep.
