On Immigration: Build the wall; stop chain migration; end sanctuary cities

State Representative Geoff Diehl, candidate for U.S. Senate, reacted to President Donald Trump's first State of the Union: Illegal immigration costs the Commonwealth $1.8 billion annually. That's why I agree with the President that we need to build the wall, stop chain migration and end sanctuary cities," said Diehl.

On Tax Reform: 80% of Mass. residents will get tax cut from Trump's plan

State Representative Geoff Diehl, candidate for U.S. Senate, reacted to President Donald Trump's first State of the Union: "80 percent of Massachusetts residents are receiving a tax cut. Numerous businesses have given out bonuses to their employees. Eversource is cutting electrical rates. Unemployment is down. President Trump has revived our economy and put our nation on the right path from growth and prosperity," said Diehl. "Unfortunately, Senator Elizabeth Warren has refused to support any of the Trump measures that have helped the overwhelming majority of Massachusetts residents. If she had her way, the government would still be shutdown, Eversource would be raising rates and there would be no tax cut," said Diehl.
