Beth Lindstrom in Past and present Senate candidates from Massachusetts

On Budget & Economy: Helped reduce needless business regulations to increase jobs

As a small business owner, Beth understands the economy and the burden that regulations and high taxes impose on job creation. As Consumer Affairs Director, she was recognized for reducing unnecessary regulations. She also led a reform of the auto insurance market that lowered rates for drivers.ÿ

On War & Peace: Why is Sen. Warren dissing U.S. foreign policy in China?

Why is @SenWarren sowing discord against U.S. foreign policy on her trip to China? It's one thing to throw rocks at your Dem and GOP opponents in the U.S., it's demoralizing to see her do it on foreign soil in front of our communist adversaries.

On Civil Rights: Supports state law legalizing same sex marriage

Beth Lindstrom, who was Scott Brown's former campaign manager during his upset 2010 special election victory, appears to be running in third place in the Republican primary. She also has stated that she "supports the law from 2004 to legalize same-sex marriage in the state".

On Government Reform: For Congressional term limits

Should I earn the opportunity, I will consider my service as a duty, and never as an entitlement. I'm a believer in term limits for everyone in Congress. At most 12 years in the House, and the same for the Senate. Frankly that is closer to the vision of our founders, who wanted citizen legislators and not a permanent governing class.

On Corporations: Cut corporate taxes

Amid a national debate over the tax code, Lindstrom said she wants to cut the corporate tax rate and expand the child tax credit for every family.

On Health Care: Bipartisan cooperation instead of socialized medicine

Lindstrom said Warren's plans for health-care reform equate to "socialized medicine in America." Rather, bipartisan cooperation is needed to fix the health-care system, she said. "We need Democrats and Republicans working together for the good of this country," she said, adding that "we have to protect the system from any more sudden shocks, especially in Massachusetts, because healthcare is such a big part of our economy."

On Immigration: Against sanctuary cities

Lindstrom is starkly against sanctuary cities. "I support legal immigration; it makes our country rich and diverse," she said. "But I also believe there should be no sanctuary for anyone hiding from our immigration laws, and least of all for violent felons living in so-called 'sanctuary cities.'"
