Q: Should Wisconsin participate in the federal REAL ID program?

A: No.

[Note: The federal REAL ID program establishes stricter controls over licensing and identification papers, to enforce against terrorism and illegal immigration. All 50 states have waivers to avoid enforcement, however.]
