Would not support any pro-choice judicial candidate

HOLT: During questioning from a panel of reporters, Holt, who served one term in the state House before being elected to the state Senate, said he opposes abortion and would not support any judicial candidate who supported abortion rights.

LINCOLN: Lincoln said she tries to take an objective approach to the judicial confirmation process and doesn’t want a judicial candidate “who interprets the laws based on their personal views and political views.”

End ALL abortion -- it is wholesale infanticide

End ALL abortion. Senator Holt has said that a rape or incest exception would be better than the wholesale infanticide we have now, but he neither believes in nor advocates such exceptions.

Will not confirm judges who uphold Roe v. Wade

Roe v. Wade is a terrible decision, and should be overturned. It is an early example of the judicial tyranny plaguing our nation today. The law in all 50 states was overturned, and the consent of the governed as the basis for all just governmental power was thrown out. I will not confirm a federal judicial nominee who I believe will vote to uphold Roe vs. Wade.

End all abortions except perhaps in cases of incest or rape

If we are able to end all abortions except in cases of incest or rape, or in cases where the life of the mother is at stake, I would definitely be in favor of that because it would eliminate approximately 95 percent or better of all abortions performed.

Taxpayers should not have to pay for abortions

Taxpayers should not have to pay for abortions. They should not be forced to give tax dollars to organizations that support abortion, such as Planned Parenthood. Nor should they be taxed for international aid programs that support abortion. I’d like to cut all such spending from the budget. The only circumstance I can imagine where taxpayers might have some obligation to pay would be if a woman was in prison and an abortion was necessary to save her life.

Choose to save mother’s life, not to kill babies
