Negotiate stronger trade deals but don't close doors
America prospers when we compete globally. Almost 95 percent of the world's consumers live beyond our borders, and greater access to those markets helps create American jobs. We should negotiate stronger trade deals and enforce the terms of
existing agreements to ensure fair competition globally. Closing doors to trade opportunities won't bring back jobs, but it will make life for everyday Americans more expensive, and reduce our ability to sell our goods around the world.
