Larry Hogan on Budget & Economy

Republican Maryland Governor

Job #1: get government off our backs and out of our pockets

In the Hogan-Rutherford administration, these three fundamental principles will influence every decision:
  1. Jobs, the Middle Class, and Restoring Maryland's Economy: Despite all of our natural advantages--a deep port, a highly educated workforce, and proximity to large urban areas--our economy ranks 44th out of 50 states and our unemployment has nearly doubled. Job one in the Hogan administration will be to get the government off our backs and out of our pockets, so we can grow the private sector, put people back to work, and turn our economy around.
  2. Make it easier for Maryland families and job creators to stay here. If something comes across Hogan's desk as governor that does not pass this test, he'll veto it.
  3. Bring integrity back to Annapolis
