We need a flatter, fairer tax system to foster growth in the economy and allow taxpayers the opportunity to save and invest for the future. I will reform the tax code like Ronald Reagan did. Be assured that a lack of revenue for the federal government
is not the problem; too much spending is. Tax revenue to the federal government is more than 18 percent of the GDP; the problem lies in the fact that federal spending is more than 24 percent of the GDP.
