Janet Reno on Jobs

Former Attorney General; Democratic Challenger FL Governor

Shorten workday to conform to school hours

Reno evolved into the social engineer, advocating nothing less than curtailing the work day to conform to school hours. “We could eliminate the need for child care in many instances. Working parents will be less rushed than they are now in the brief morning and evening hours they are with their children. The 9 to 5 workday was established in another century of no computers. We can accomplish far more today working from 9 to 2 than we could accomplish in 9 to 5 a century ago.”
