Natural Law Party on Welfare & Poverty

Party Platform

Welfare should be a safety net for unemployed

Welfare should not be a lifestyle, but a short-term safety net. The Natural Law Party is in favor of welfare, including a two-year limit on benefits. We can broaden the idea of “welfare” from a notion of cash to a more expansive notion of well-being.
