Rev. Jesse Jackson on Infrastructure

Computer literacy gap demands structural solution

There is a computer literacy gap. There is a financial gap. A market gap. A vertical employment gap. An access to capital gap. These are structural gaps that demand structural solutions.

If you plant two seeds in the ground, feed them, water them, and build a wall between them, one will grow tall and strong and the other won’t grow at all. It’s not because one seed was better than the other. One seed was nourished by the sublight and the other was kept in darkness by the wall.
