On Harvard Board of Overseers; will recuse on Harvard case
Jackson's involvement on the board of overseers at her alma mater Harvard University has emerged as a possible conflict of interest for an upcoming Supreme Court case seeking to strike down Harvard's affirmative action practices as discriminatory.
In the past, justices including Breyer and Elena Kagan have recused themselves from cases involving conflicts of interest.
