Mike Hatch on Corporations

End corporate tax breaks & executive pay inequality

In the 2006 governor's race, Hatch complained of growing inequality between corporate executives and workers, and targeted rising health care and tuition costs as unacceptable. Hatch said he wouldn't raise taxes, but instead would end tax breaks for certain corporations and crack down on tax evaders. Like most Democrats in the 2006 elections, he consistently tied his Republican opponent to the increasingly unpopular President Bush. Source: Sam's Club Republican, by J.A.
