Steve Russell on Homeland Security

Tireless advocate for our national defense

As a soldier that has fought on three continents, I know first hand the importance of our foreign policy and national security decisions. I have been a tireless advocate for our national defense with nationally published opinion pieces and appearances on major radio on talk shows. Having an experienced soldier's voice to counter the poor decisions of career politicians can possibly be the difference between a good decision and one that costs lives and treasure.

Russell: Strongly Agree

Question topic: Briefly list political or legislative issues of most concern to you.

Russell: Foreign Policy - We are being played like a drum by our peer competitors and are being challenged by tyrants and terrorists due to weak leadership. America is a powerful nation with incredible resources than can do so much good if properly guided.
