Override Gov. Romney's veto of Budget Line Item 0321-1600, which eliminated funding for the Massachusetts Legal Assistance Corporation (MLAC). MLAC provides legal representation for indigent or otherwise disadvantaged persons, including the disabled, Medicare recipients, and battered women.

Override Gov. Romney's veto of Budget Line Item 0321-2100, $500,000 for the Massachusetts Correctional Legal Services (MCLS). MCLS provides the only legal aid to indigent incarcerated individuals.
