Michael Nutter on Civil Rights |
Since its introduction in February, the bill had been amended several times, and in many ways it has become more liberal. For instance, the expansion of benefits do not just include health benefits, as written in the original language, but "all other benefits employers offer to spouses of married employees," will be "offered to life partners as well." The language also changed the definitive "man" and "woman" to "two people who share the same gender identity."
