Semi Bird on Abortion
|
|
I value all life, from conception through natural death
Q: RIGHT TO LIFE: Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?A: I value all life, from conception, through natural death. Let's provide women with support services, such as, prenatal care and make adoption a feasible option.
Let's be proactive and bring awareness programs into at risk communities to reduce unwanted pregnancy.
Q: Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards?
A: Strongly Agree. If there is a law to make this drug available,
it must be safe and regulated.
Q: Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
A: Neutral. This question should be worded differently.
I support women's health, family planning, and preventive care, but I do not support making taxpayers fund abortion providers against their will. I support making this an initiative where the citizens of Washington choose.
