Carol Moseley-Braun on Environment

Former IL Senator; Democratic Candidate for President

Advance a worldwide environmental agenda

Q: How will you support progressive environmental policies?

A: My own patriotism proceeds out of a sincere belief that we have no right to leave the next generation less than we inherited. We are stewards of this planet, and the stewardship must not be sacrificed to private greed. We should work closely with our international allies to advance a worldwide environmental agenda; we should work efficiently at home to build on the enhanced environmental protections that the American people demand.
