$50B annually to address needed infrastructure decay
I’ve proposed a five-year, $250 billion infrastructure redevelopment plan. $50 billion a year rebuilding highways, roadways, tunnels, bridges and, in the name of homeland security, ports. If you look at the ports in this country, we are in disrepair.
Not only does it create jobs, it does what is needed because we need to deal with the infrastructural decay. And if we do not create jobs, we can have all of the recovery we want in production, we are not going to have consumers to buy it.

My $250 billion infrastructure-redevelopment plan would be to put $50 billion a year to the federal deficit that would rebuild highways, tunnels, bridges, roadways, and in the name of homeland security, the ports. Like Roosevelt’s public works programs,
increasing jobs, increasing tax payers who the tax payers would pay for. We are investing in the wrong people in the country. We are investing in the rich, rather investing in working-class families giving them productive and constructive jobs.

Cure economy by building infrastructure
First, I support the plan to invest $250 billion over a five-year period that would create jobs to rebuild and redevelop the infrastructure--roads, bridges, tunnels, highways, school buildings. Second, we should develop a national railway system.
Third, I would rebuild the ports. So I think that the plan would create jobs where they’re necessary. Those income-producing jobs would become taxpayers. It would pay off the deficit. It would increase consumer activity.
