Keep gangs out of our neighborhoods; help the police
As a State Senator, I have been committed to the welfare of my community, crafting legislation to make our community safer. I have worked to make transportation and police services available to better aid the public. I have joined forces with the
Police Department to keep gangs out of our neighborhoods and to assure that our children are safer in our schools, parks and recreation areas. Together, we can make our homes, streets, schools and parks safer. Here is a list of a few bills
I have authored and passed as a State Legislator.- AB 649 - Helps California Highway Patrolmen and California Forestry Firefighters.
- AB 2125 - Helps members of the California Conservation Corps and the Department of Forestry and Fire
Protection.
- AB 287 - Helps protect against forest fires and other potential disasters.
- SB 1365 - Protects public safety workers and nurses from unjust lawsuits.
