Benghazi matters because we didn't seek retribution
One of the things we have to start with is understanding that we must stand up to adversaries. Hillary Clinton famously asked, "what difference does it make how four Americans died in Benghazi?" This is the difference it makes, Mrs. Clinton:
When terrorists purposefully attack an American embassy and kill four Americans, including an ambassador, and the next morning you get up and you lie about a videotape that doesn't represent our values, instead of saying the
United States of America was purposefully attacked by terrorists, and we will seek retribution, then you are saying to every adversary and every adversary and every terrorist organization on the planet, it's open season.
That, Mrs. Clinton, is what difference it makes.

We need strongest military & that whole world knows it
Let's talk about the future. We need the strongest military on the face of the planet, and everyone has to know it. And, specifically, what that means is we need about 50 Army brigades, we need about 36 Marine battalions, we need somewhere between 300
and 350 naval ships, we need to upgrade every leg of the nuclear triad. We need to reform the Department of Defense, we need to invest in our military technology, and we need to care for our veterans so 307,000 aren't dying waiting for health care.

We get warnings about terrorism, but we must connect dots
It is disturbing that every time one of these home-grown terrorist attacks occurs, it turns out we had warning signals. It turns out some dot wasn't connected, and so the first thing we have to do is make sure that everyone and every responsible
agency is attuned to all of these possibilities and symptoms. We even had warnings about the Boston Marathon bombers, and yet the dots weren't connected. So we need to get on a different mindset.

Don't pull punches on Benghazi: a tragedy and a scandal
Q: Hillary Clinton's lawyers told the House Benghazi committee, "there's no point going after the server because we have wiped clean all of the e-mails and so all of those so-called 30,000 private e-mails are gone." What do you make of it?FIORINA:
Well, I think it was part of the plan all along that the Clintons had. Look, I think it was very deliberate that they had a private server. I think it was very deliberate that she used a personal e-mail account. I think this clearly was a deliberate
effort to shield her communications. We need a nominee who will bring this up in the general election. The reason Benghazi was not enough of an issue in the 2012 election is because, unfortunately, our nominee pulled his punches when he had an
opportunity to remind the American people of the Benghazi tragedy and scandal.
Q: So, you won't pull your punches on Hillary?
FIORINA: Oh, I will not pull my punches--not now and not in a general election.

On Benghazi: I'm familiar with America's allies and enemies
Former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina touted her international business experience to help position herself as one familiar with America's allies and enemies. "Unlike Hillary Clinton, I know what difference it makes that our American
ambassador and three other brave Americans were killed in a deliberate terrorist attack," she said, alluding to the 2012 attack at the U.S. embassy in Benghazi, Libya. The line brought a standing ovation from attendees, halting her mid-speech.

Keep Gitmo; don't try foreign terrorists in civilian court
Government's first and foremost priority is to protect its citizens. That means defending our nation from threats of all kinds, both domestic and foreign. Carly strongly opposes trying foreign terrorists in civilian court, and she also opposes closing
the detention facility at Guantanamo Bay. These enemy combatants have not earned the right to protections under the U.S. Constitution and should not be given special treatment for political reasons.

Campaign donations from jihadists should be returned
Q: Reports say you have had relationships with 4 individuals with jihadists and jihadist views.CAMPBELL: Silent slander stops today. Carly Fiorina's lead campaign consultant slandered me by calling me an anti-Semite. When I was running for the US
Senate in 2000, Sammy Al Arian helped me. I note that he also helped George W. Bush who was running for President. I do not think that I deserve the kind of attack however that has been launched that somehow I am jihadist.
FIORINA: Unlike Tom Campbell
George W. Bush gave back the campaign contribution. Tom Campbell refused to do so. Also the views of the Professor that he mentioned were well known and aired on Bill O'Reilly prior to his being fired. I do not believe you are an anti Semite. Marty
Wilson tells me he never made that comment, but I do believe this--Israel is our most important ally in the Middle East, they have made great sacrifices for peace there faced with an existential threat, and CA voters need to know our views.

Guantanamo Bay isn't broken, so don't fix it
Q: On Guantanamo Bay and Miranda Rights for those [accused of terrorism; your opinion?]FIORINA: Common sense says that if something's not broken you don't fix it. I don't think Guantanamo Bay is broken. I think it works just fine. For those who say
Guantanamo Bay is a recruiting tool for terrorists, even if we close Guantanamo Bay, those who intend to harm us will come up with another recruiting tool. Guantanamo should be the place where enemy combatants are tried in military tribunals and held.
I do not believe that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, or the Christmas Day bomber have earned the right of American citizens. I do not think they have eared the assumption of innocence particularly when they have confessed to these acts, in some cases in
chilling detail. I do not believe we should be trying in civilian courts. I do not believe American taxpayer money should be layering them up. I believe they should be tried, and if possible, executed in military tribunals or held in Guantanamo Bay

Opposes banning homosexuals in the military.
Fiorina opposes the CC survey question on banning homosexuals in the military
The Christian Coalition voter guide [is] one of the most powerful tools Christians have ever had to impact our society during elections. This simple tool has helped educate tens of millions of citizens across this nation as to where candidates for public office stand on key faith and family issues.
The CC survey summarizes candidate stances on the following topic: "Enforcing the 1993 law banning homosexuals in the military"
