I plan to make a cornerstone of my tenure as Ohio's next US Senator the mission to help renew our cities to reach their full potential once again. This will not be an easy task. It demands innovative thinking, strategic reinvention and relentless collaboration that is unprecedented. And the lion's share of this will inevitably fall to the civic, business and community leaders in our cities, but there is a clear and compelling role for the federal government and your U.S. Senators to play.
