Favors flat tax, but keep lower income tax too

Britton also opposed the stimulus bill and says he agrees with the Tea Party movement on their concern about the expansion of the federal government. On fiscal issues, he favors a so-called "flat tax," which would simplify the tax code but require everyone to pay some income taxes. "Everyone needs to have skin in the game," Britton said.
