Rather than address Obama's plans directly, Clawson said all new government programs and increases to federal debt or taxes were wrong. He said that "we need to lift the economic shackles of ObamaCare," that the small-business and corporate tax rates should be cut in half. Repeal ObamaCare; no bureaucrats in charge of health care

On healthcare reform, we should repeal ObamaCare and start over with a new approach that ends denial of coverage for pre-existing conditions, that puts patients and doctors, not bureaucrats in charge of health care decisions, and which empower patients putting them in control of their health care dollars.
