Florida sun a beacon of light for those yearning for freedom

There are not a whole lot of Floridians who are itching to move from Florida to lockdown states, but there are thousands and thousands of people who are seeking to leave the lockdowns behind for the greener pastures in Florida. We have long been known as the Sunshine State--but, given the unprecedented lockdowns we have witnessed in other states, I think the Florida sun now serves as a beacon of light to those who yearn for freedom.

Compels schools to have moment of silence for prayer

DeSantis visited a Jewish temple to denounce anti-Semitism and stand with Israel, as the governor cloaked himself in religion while signing a bill into law that would require public schools in his state to set aside at least one minute of silence for children to meditate or pray. [It] makes Florida one of at least 15 states that would compel schools to hold moments of silence at public schools. The state had already been among roughly 18 other states that gave schools the option to do so.

Together we have made Florida the freest state in these United States. While so many around the country have consigned the people's rights to the graveyard, Florida has stood as freedom's vanguard. Florida has become the escape hatch for those chafing under authoritarian, arbitrary and seemingly never-ending mandates and restrictions.

Wokism is a form of cultural Marxism. It is not just about raising taxes or bad economic policy, it is about tearing at the fabric of our society and trying to replace it with something that will be much, much more sinister. A lot of major institutions in our country have become infected with this woke virus. Look at academia. Do we even need to discuss that? Their main objective is to impose an ideological world view.

So we find ourselves in Florida on the front lines in the battle for freedom. Together we have made Florida the nation's most desired destination and we have produced historic results. Mark Meadows said, `The HFC will work to provide a unified conservative voice in the House Republican Conference. I look forward to working with leadership to make the concerns of conservatives known as we work together to advance a pro-growth, limited government agenda in the House.`

Excerpts from Wikipedia article on HFC: The HFC is a congressional caucus consisting of conservative Republican members of the US House of Representatives. It was formed by a group of Congressmen as a `smaller, more cohesive, more agile and more active` group of conservatives. Many members are also part of the Republican Study Committee, another conservative House group. The caucus is sympathetic to the Tea Party movement.

They are dedicated to [ending] the irresponsible federal spending we`ve seen over the last decade. This support for commonsense policies has led the Establishment to brand them as `radical` and `ultra-conservative.` In reality they are merely advocating for doing what Republican leaders pledged to do. The Freedom Caucus exists to serve as a strong, conservative conscience guiding Congress.
