Tom Reilly on Energy & Oil

Cape Wind project is "a huge ripoff"

Reilly [elaborated on] his opposition to the controversial Cape Wind project. Reilly called the plan to build a wind farm six miles off Cape Cod "a huge ripoff."

"Twenty-four square miles of Nantucket Sound are being given to a private developer for absolutely nothing," Reilly said. "There's a right way to do things and a wrong way. This is the wrong way." Both Gabrieli and Patrick refuted Reilly's contention that the Cape Wind plan has not been properly reviewed by the government.
