LGBTQ Rights: Limit or expand LGBTQ rights?
• Hung Cao (R): Limit. Opposes Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion training in the military. It's "wrong" for his "daughters to have to compete against a man" in sports; will "not allow a man to go to my daughters' bathrooms."
• Tim Kaine (D): Expand. Supported bills protecting LGBTQ people from discrimination and recognizing same-sex marriages. Led a resolution offering an apology to discriminated-against LGBTQ government workers.

We need a strong military to keep pace with foreign threats

No pier in Gaza; keep sanctions on Iran

• Biden said no boots on the ground. Now we find out that means boots on a ship & a pier, spending our tax dollars to build a port for Hamas. No!
• $6 billion? More like $76 billion. Let's not forget the $10 billion in sanctions he lifted allowing Iraq to transfer to Iran. Add $60 billion in oil sanctions he refuses to enforce and you get $76 billion, which is the same amount of money we gave to Ukraine to defeat Russia.
• Iran's military presence in South America should greatly concern the United States. @POTUS needs to deploy #sanctions that have a real impact.

Graduated US Naval Academy; deployed to Afghanistan

A: Hung Cao was a refugee from Vietnam. He grew up in West Africa and returned to the U.S. in 1982. He with the first graduating class of Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. Hung graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with a BS in Ocean Engineering. Hung holds a Master's in Applied Physics, and he is a MIT and Harvard Fellow.

Hung retired in October 2021 as Captain, dedicating 25 years in Navy Special Operations. He commanded various special operations units around the world. During his last combat deployment in 2020-2021 he was the Director of counter-Improvised Threats throughout Afghanistan.

Hung worked with the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force for four years alongside law enforcement. Hung programmed and balanced the Navy's $140B annual budget. In Hung's final assignment, he led the Department of Defense in Sensitive Activities.
