Support tax incentives for R&D of energy sources

I will support federal efforts to encourage more development of traditional energy sources with tax incentives, but not with additional government spending. Nor with anything which would create another level of expensive bureaucracy. By using tax incentives, private industries would be motivated to develop more traditional energy resources. However, I would also encourage more research and development of alternative energy sources.
