As Attorney General he has taken active steps to enhance protections of children, families and communities across the state. Attorney General Biden created the Delaware Department of Justice Child Predator Unit to track and prosecute child sex offenders
and help pass state legislation that strengthened Delaware's sex offender registry statute. He created a Family Division to focus law enforcement resources on fighting domestic violence, protecting Delaware's families, and reducing juvenile crime.
