Fully accessible health insurance for all Americans

1. Provide health insurance to children who are not covered under their parents' plans & oppose efforts to cut funding for SCHIP.
2. End coverage denials by insurance companies for pre-existing conditions.
3. Use government buying power to negotiate lower prescription dru prices and get answers as to why there has been price gouging. Many people in the US cannot afford the medicine they need and get sicker as a result. This is completely unacceptable. Additionally, the Medicare Prescription Drug plan should be fixed so that it is more user-friendly.
