Promote New Mexico tourism: 'Stay another day'

King said, "When my dad was governor, he had a project with tourism department called 'Stay another day.' They really worked hard to figure out what would cause tourists to stay another day in New Mexico. They had information when (tourists) went to Carlsbad Caverns about cooling off in the mountains at Ruidoso or Cloudcroft and encouraged people to extend their trips and make sure they spent a little more of their vacation money in New Mexico."

Stand up for environment; polluters already have clout

The polluters already have great political clout in Santa Fe. We need a Governor who will stand up for environmental protection that preserves the beauty, resources and traditions of our state.

As Attorney General and as a state legislator, Gary King has fought hard to protect New Mexico's environment. He has taken on Martinez and the polluters to ensure common-ground policies that both protect our water and air, and fuel economic growth and jobs.
