Build relationships instead of imperialist foreign policy
OBAMA: Gov. Romney, a few months ago when you were asked, "what's the biggest geopolitical threat facing America?", you said Russia--not al-Qaida, you said Russia. ROMNEY: First of all, Russia, I indicated, is a geopolitical foe, not [a national
security threat]. It's a geopolitical foe. In the same paragraph, I said Iran is the greatest national security threat we face. Russia does continue to battle us in the UN time and time again.
ANDERSON: We need to start building friendly relationships
with these nations and not go around with the kinds of belligerence where not only do we attack these countries, but Mitt Romney calling Russia our greatest geopolitical foe, for heaven's sakes, when we ought to be working with Russia to bring about a
peaceful resolution of what's happening in Syria. So, this is a holistic problem with an imperialist foreign policy that we have to turn around, and the American people can see to it if we join together.
