Darrell Castle on Abortion | |
CASTLE: Strongly Disagree, Darrell does not see it as an issue about a woman's choice.˙ When a pregnant woman has an abortion what comes afterward is not just a woman who is not pregnant, but a dead baby. ˙The Constitution guarantees each person the right to life.˙ No one can be deprived of life without due process (being charged with a crime and being found guilty by a jury of its peers and allowed to exhaust all appeals).˙
Unlike Hillary Clinton who recently said, "unborn persons have no constitutional rights", I know that all "persons" have the right to life and both the 5th and 14th amendments confirm that position. I also know, as does Mrs. Clinton in the deep recesses of her heart, that those waiting in their mother's womb to be born are in fact persons. There are many things that a Constitutional President could do about abortion but I will give you a couple.
DC: In the first 100 days I would move the United States to withdraw from the United Nations so that we could be a free and independent country able to make our way in the world with leaders accountable to the American people. I would explain to the American people why I think that action is necessary.
I would move Congress to repeal the Federal Reserve Act and take back control of our monetary policy and I would explain that to the American people as well. That would be a necessary start to a growing, dynamic economy. The debt needs to be addressed quickly and I would do that in conjunction with ending the Federal Reserve.
At the same time I would be starting the process of defunding Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers. Life needs to be recognized for the God given gift that it is.
